Twelve youth from the local high schools have joined Fusion Youth Radio for its fourth season. These youth leaders have now been trained in skills including audio editing, interviewing, and script writing and produced three live shows this fall. For the October radio show, themed around body image, they produced original audio commentaries brimming with vulnerability and insight. Their most recent radio show was themed “Thanksgiving: family, food, history, and gratitude,” and youth learned about layering sound backgrounds to add color to their stories.
