…at the Jackson Center we are all over the place! The Bonner Leaders have left us for the year to study for (and then pass) their final exams. Aleck and Hudson are on the third leg of the “Truth and Hope Tour of Poverty in North Carolina,” which will take them to western parts of the state. The tour is sponsored by the Poverty Center, the NC NAACP, the NC Justice Center, the Institute for Civic Engagement and Social Change at NC Central University, and the NC AARP and we can’t wait to learn from their experiences upon their return. Monica and Lauren are in the midst of processing 40 interviews to figure out just which recipes will be in “A Place at the Table."
As you can see, we’re staying busy and avoiding spring fever. Happy May Day, everyone!
