
Trey Walk is a senior at Duke University (shhh) studying History with a focus on urban studies and human rights. Originally from Gray Court, South Carolina, Trey has been a volunteer advocate with Community Empowerment Fund for 3 years and is an organizer with several social justice organizations at Duke. His research interests are in the worlds of affordable housing, equitable community development, and land theory and policy. Trey believes in the power of history and the ability of communities to come together to build a world with more justice, which is why he is excited to support the Northside Neighborhood Initiative.
