Adele Henderson has returned to her alma mater UNC-Chapel Hill as a 2019 Masters of Public Health in Health Behavior candidate. After graduating from UNC in 2013 with a degree in Psychology, she embarked on a four-year journey in New York City working for a youth development organization mentoring and advocating for “at-promise” youth. She is excited to join the Jackson Center Team as a summer fellow. Her work will include designing a pilot program for a Student Living-Learning Household in the Northside neighborhood to intentionally engage students with long-term residents. Community insight from both older residents in the neighborhood and UNC students will guide the program development.
